Daily Journal-Feb 2017
Feb 01, 2017: 6:00am woke due to another very strong muscle spasm on my knee, but the contracture either didn't happen, or the brace protected me from the pain. The brace being set at 30-degrees seems like it's doing what I had hoped.
Feb 01, 2017: 10:35am fell back asleep after this morning's rude (but not painful) muscle spasm. I have a theory that I'm going to test out tonight. I have been forcing myself to deal with the pain without the painkillers. When I'm in PT and experience pain, my mind goes blank to the point that I can't even count to 10. I have another PT class scheduled for this afternoon. I'm going to take a painkiller early enough that I'll be numbed up for the PT. I want to find out if I can count the repetitions then. If so, I'm thinking that if I can sleep pain free, I might be able to remember my password the next morning. If pain is what is making me not able to remember anything, then I'd rather be addicted to painkillers at least so I can remember.
Feb 01, 2017: 12:03pm internet access outage AGAIN, down for almost 1 hour (service restored at 12:55pm)
Feb 01, 2017: 12:04pm testing out invoiceninja again now that we have https://vps1.yellowsprinkles.org/.
Feb 01, 2017: 1:58pm decided not to go with invoiceninja. They have a nice tool, but they charge monthly for the stuff we need. Back to searching...
Feb 01, 2017: 2:54pm registered new domain name "provabletimestamp.com". This will be part of the YellowSprinkles.org magic.
Feb 01, 2017: 3:09pm registered new domain name "provabletimestamp.net" and "provabletimestamp.org".
Feb 01, 2017: 5:15pm Round 3 of Physical Therapy for knee. This time I went in with a prescription painkiller already in my system. The repetitions still made the mind-fogging happen to where I couldn't count to 10. My therapist gave great advice; if I lose count, just keep going until exhaustion or pain. That I could remember and did so multiple times.
Feb 02, 2017: 7:50am tried logging into my password manager again and was still unable to remember my Master Password.
Feb 02, 2017: 9:11am started looking at https://auth0.com/ as a possible solution to the repeatedly horrid password memory problem. Switching gears to check out https://www.medicaid.gov/ to make sure I keep getting to doctor appointments.
Feb 02, 2017: 11:00am as going through wallet looking for medical insurance card (needed for medicaid application), I decided that it'd be a good idea to take a digital picture of everything in the wallet just in case I ever lose it. Otherwise there'd be no way to recall what was in it. As I was going through the cards and snapping pictures, I came across a casino royalty points card. Threw it away since I'm sure I'll never be using it again. Good idea though: royalty points, that'll be something to add to YellowSprinkles.org before it opens.
Feb 02, 2017: 11:30am note to self: build a URL shortener service for provabletimestamp.com, and edit this journal to include a proof of each additional entry since the validity of this all will likely be questioned someday. Provabletimestamp.com will be a way to prove it's progression along a timeline, and free advertising in the process. Done. See Feb 02, 2017: 7:00pm entry.
Feb 02, 2017: 11:34am better idea: timestamped journal like this using provabletimestamp.com! Yeah man, the neurons are firing good right now! Now where's that damn pen to write a post-it note on the WageWorks.com card that has $7.62 balance available on it and must be used by Mar 31, 2017 or else the money is gone?!
Feb 02, 2017: 6:42pm finally finished watching Arrival after 4 attempts today, and falling asleep 3 times. Another idea: develop an open source bitcoin payment address generator that keeps going until it generates a palindrome payment address. While this would be way cool, it wouldn't change the world so I can't spend time on that now. https://www.bitaddress.org/ has the open source code available that could be leveraged for this; just need to add a palindrome function to it.
Feb 02, 2017: 7:00pm Purchased another domain that will be used as the URL shortening service for provabletimestamp.com: "proved.xyz".
Feb 02, 2017: 8:59pm hello NSS. I'm not ready to talk to you yet, but I know I will be soon. I'll contact you when I'm ready. If you think you could help speed up my physical recovery, I'd surely appreciate that. I'm sure you'd know how to contact me. Time is more valuable than bitcoin.
Feb 02, 2017: 9:20pm started thinking about taking security to the next level by looking at https://developers.google.com/site-verification/. Thanks for that, NSA.
Feb 03, 2017: 2:20am struggled for hours with SSL settings on yellowsprinkles.org, and password problem again on cloudflare.com
Feb 03, 2017: 3:09am bought 3 more domain names at domains4bitcoins.com. Too tired to list them now. Sleep time.
Feb 03, 2017: 11:30am fixed error for wiki.yellowsprinkles.org which resulted in the subdomain being unreachable since last night. Thanks SmileManager for informing me of that.
Feb 04, 2017: 11:50pm woke from the worst nightmare of my entire life. To sum it up nicely; Good vs. Evil. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly choose Good.
Feb 05, 2017: 1:35am Purchased additional domains along the same lines as as provabletimestamp.com, but a much catchier name. One which is too cool to even list here now because I'm considering purchasing .info, .xyz, and as many other domain suffixes with that name as possible to reserve it across the board. I believe it'd be best to wait until tomorrow for any additional domain suffixes at this point, plus the price of bitcoin will likely increase more by then anyway, so it'll ultimately cost less to reserve them the longer I wait. Current price is 1029.00 USD for 1 btc according to http://bitcoinity.org/markets. See domains4bitcoins.com
Feb 05, 2017: 5:00am purchased a couple additional domains that are just a plural version of the ones bought last night. Idea being that this new technology will be made into a household verb such as when you say, "let me Google that for you" (lmgtfy.com is awesome!).
Feb 05, 2017: 6:25am topped up the account balance at https://bithost.io/
Feb 05, 2017: 7:27am fixed DNS problem with vps1.yellowsprinkles.org and the way cloudflare.com does things.
Feb 06, 2017: 11:59am updated http://yellowsprinkles.org/contact-us with a new bitcoin payment address specifically for bitcoin donations directly to the creator of YellowSprinkles.org.
Feb 06, 2017: 11:59pm The domain name provabletimestamp.com is now online via HTTPS, and got an overall A rating at ssllabs.com.
Feb 07, 2017: 12:13am The domain name provabletimestamp.net is now online via HTTPS, and got an overall A rating at ssllabs.com.
Feb 07, 2017: 12:24am The domain name provabletimestamp.org is now online via HTTPS, and got an overall A rating at ssllabs.com.
Feb 07, 2017: health problems all day, migraines mainly. Note to self: need to check out https://www.ethereum.org/. This sounds very promising.
Feb 07, 2017: 4:26am updated DNS nameservers for proved.xyz to use cloudflare.com. Check again in 24 hours.
Feb 08, 2017: 1:30pm Visited http://lifesonginc.org/ for the first time ever just now and I think I know where I'll be going soon. Too busy dealing with trying to get set up with Medicaid right now to deal with it. Recording the URL here so I'll remember where to pick up when I come back to work on http://YellowSprinkles.org/.
Feb 08, 2017: 3:10pm Created CNAME record for "www" on the proved.xyz domain at cloudflare.com.
Feb 08, 2017: 3:51pm The domain name proved.xyz is now online via HTTPS, and got an overall A rating at ssllabs.com.
Feb 09, 2017: 12:26am fixed background image on provabletimestamp.net
Feb 09, 2017: spent hours trying to get tox.chat working on Ubuntu laptop with Antidote for iPhone, no such luck. Try again another time.
Feb 10, 2017: 12:42am split up daily journal into by-month pages.
Feb 10, 2017: 12:30pm I have decided on a name of the group of individuals that will control things within YellowSprinkles.org when I was talking to my brother about extending him an offer (eventually) on this whole thing. The powers that drive YellowSprinkles.org will be referred to as "The High Counsel". I was already planning an internal voting system, but realized that the voting system that I fully intend to develop will be of sufficient caliber to put the United States' pathetic antiquated voting system to shame. Whoa. This is gonna be big.
Feb 10, 2017: 4:15pm purchased additional cloud storage space for https://drive.google.com/ but need to wait 24 hours before it's usable. (Why google!?)
Feb 10, 2017: 6:30pm trying to get SSL working on provablytimestamped.net but something is still wrong with this. It's taking up too much time wrestling with it. This will need to be revisited whenever I can find the time.
Feb 11, 2017: got some things accomplished, but they were all dealing with personal issues, not related to YellowSprinkles.org
Feb 11, 2017: ordered personal body cam from amazon for my own peace of mind since human memory is so unreliable. George Orwell was right on with the 1984 idea, just off by 30 years or so.
Feb 12, 2017: 9:00am successfully installed open source software VanityGen, which is now trying to generate a bitcoin payment address with "yellow" in it, case-insensitive. Not needed for overall operations, but it'll be a nice-to-have if/when it ever finds a private key to an address with that pattern in the payment address.
Fen 12, 2017: 9:24am started investigating OpenChain.org as the financial accounting software to be used for YellowSprinkles.org.
